Bangalow, a cute little town with historic charm nestled in the hills behind Byron Bay…. Once upon a time, not that long ago, I lived there. And I saw a spot from afar with creepy, old looking trees and dry grass that I HAD to photograph a maternity shoot at. I became obsessed. Driving up all the long driveways onto people’s properties and asking how I access it. Driving up others and getting creeped out and turning around. Knocking on doors. Asking locals and even google earthing the crap out of it to try and work it out. The way I thought I might be able get up that little hill was blocked by a creek…Until the the rain left. And stayed away, leaving a dried up creek and a photo opportunity.

I LOVE maternity sessions. Just you and your bump or your bump and your loves. Maybe you haven’t felt the bet in this transition, maybe you’ve felt like a goddess… Either way I can guarantee you that this time, the place where you grew a human being, is so special to look back on. No regrets for images that show the way your body did what it did like an absolute Queen!
